Returns

Returns are considered by Alteredfoto in the following circumstances:

  • product is damaged during shipping
  • item has an obvious production problem

We cannot provide exchanges or refunds due to damages caused by customer handling, storage, or treatment.

Please check your delivery in the presence of the delivery person.   If you notice shipping damage, you should refuse receipt. Then, please email AlteredFoto immediately at alteredfoto@cox.net about the shipping damage to the item which was refused and, if possible, include a photo of the damage so we can replace the item. 

If you have already received the photo art print before you notice shipping damage or in the rare event of an obvious production problem, please contact us immediately by email for an RMA number.  Include your:

  • contact information
  • order number
  • description of problem
  • photo of problem (if possible)

We will reply with an email containing an RMA number and the address for return of the product.  Send the return to this address within 3 business of receiving the RMA number.  We will only accept items that have an RMA number from AlteredFoto or our printing partner.  We reserve the right at our discretion to:  offer an exchange or reprint, issue store credit for items not including shipping, take no action, or provide a refund.

Please ensure the work is packaged appropriately and that it is protected. Use the original packaging in which the item was delivered including all protective material. You are responsible for covering the cost of return postage.
