“Harbor Impressions” is a limited edition print which was photographed at an urban harbor in Nanaimo, located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It combines several photos of buildings with a photo of the vessels in the harbor so that parts of the city appear to be mirrored across the harbor scene. The mirrored imagery explores the repeated and directional motion of the vertical and horizontal forms and the patterns of lights and darks. This interplay of rhythms and forms contribute to a dynamic impression of the harbor.
