“Tectonics and Boulders” is a limited edition landscape print which was photographed at Horseshoe Bend near Page, AZ. The unique organic looking forms in the image were formed from the earth’s surface during a time of intense geological and climatic change that shaped the topography of the area. The print explores the angular dynamics of the composition limiting the color palette to accentuate the tonal and textural contrasts and sculptural qualities of the landscape. The image attempts to capture the geological footprint that makes this place unique.
